Cardi B On the Copy of Kodak Black Flow: "So What, Bitch?"
Cardi's coming for your rapper favorite's flow.
Cardi B recently became the first female rapper 19-year-old who has a single of the song hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Bodak Yellow".
And while many in the Hip-Hop celebrates the Cardi quick ascent, the success does not also come without people trying to break it down, one way or another. While performing at the Ball Drop in Columbia, South Carolina, Cardi addressed the criticism that "Bodak Yellow" — whose title is an obvious reference to the Florida rapper Kodak Black — also looks to your theft of your flow.
Cardi, which is not exactly known for pulling her punches, hit back as only she can: "To anyone who says to me 'Oh you copied Kodak-flow, copy this and that the flow,' so what, bitch?"
"Then, what? Yo mma sound like all your favorite rappers, me mma take everything that flows, and yo mma body of a bitch," he said to the standing ovation of the crowd. "One day me mma sound as Kodak, the next day me mma sound like Meek Mill, the next day me mma sound like Migos and I don't give a shit... Because I give it with the pen."
Cardi B, obviously, he was proud of how his voice was down, given that later shared on Twitter.
