Damian Lillard Taps Lil Wayne & 2 Chainz For the Next "Confirmed" LP

The album is expected to arrive on Friday (6 October).

Damian Lillard, of the Portland Trail Blazer who moonlights under the Dame D. O. L. L. A. rap nickname, is preparing the release of his new album, Confirmed on Friday (6 October).

The 6'3" point guard took to Instagram to announce the news on Monday night (October 2) and revealed that the next project features contributions from artists such as Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Nick Grant and BJ The Chicago Kid.

"Why did I name the album CONFIRMED? One of the definitions of confirmed is 'fixed in habit and unlikely to change,'" Lillard wrote. "I named the album that because there is always something for what he said about me to spend time in the studio, although I have always presented and produced by my team every night."

He continued, "I've never had problems with stardom. I am also new in the music. I've always created music while playing in each level of basketball. But now this is no longer an experiment. This is my second album. I'm going to put out respectable music annual. I have invested in that. I am resolved." I don't feel the need to answer the questions or address the concerns. This is who I am and what I do."
