Dave East Announces "Paranoia: A True Story" Release Date And Album Art
His big label debut includes the Chris Brown-with "Perfect".
Almost a year since the inking of a joint venture between Mass Appeal and Def Jam, Dave East has announced an August 18 release date for their debut album, Paranoia: A True Story. He also shared the cover art via Instagram.
Although we're still waiting on the list of songs, producer credits and guest features, This fact does little to release the Chris Brown-assisted single "Perfect". This long-time mentor Nas will serve as executive producer of the album.
Speaking with DX in July of This take a couple of tidbits about what to expect on the album.
"It is fall in the month of July. I can't give you the exact time," he said. "It's like 10 joints — all original, of course. It is my first release with Def Jam."
During the interview, he mentioned Jeezy make the cut.
"Yes, I have account there. You're trying to get all the exclusive," he continued with a smile. "I'm going to tell you. Young Jeezy. I Have Jeezy. I have the uncle there with me. I have the freedom there to do for me. I am in a position in which I have a lot of other things besides music, so that, in reality, in the corner of my street with everything else. I think I made a good decision signing with them."
