DOOM "The Missing Notebook of Rhymes" from the Series Comes To an Abrupt End

Adult Swim spokesperson: "The rest of the Missing Notebook of Rhymes, unfortunately, have to remain...missing."

Adult Swim is reportedly ending its relationship with the sentence and The Missing Notebook of Rhymes of the series. According to Mass Appeal, the network is pulling the plug on what was to be a 15-week series.

On Tuesday (September 26), the outlet received a statement from an Adult Swim spokesperson, who said, "Adult Swim is to put an end to our relationship with the CONDEMNATION, and therefore, the rest of the Missing Notebook of Rhymes, unfortunately, have to remain...missing. We are pleased to have had the opportunity to provide the above free tracks to our fans."

During the past seven weeks, Adult Swim has provided a free of the CONDEMNATION of the track every Tuesday. Starting on August 7 with the Sean Price and DOOM collaboration, "Negus", and culminating with last week's "Notebook 6," every week was going to bring an unearthed gem of the DOOM of the vault.

All the tracks have been removed by the Adult Swim web site. In addition, the page on Adult Swim's website dedicated to the project now redirects to the Adult Swim music page.

But DOOM is obviously keeping busy. He just dropped a new track with the Westside Gunn as part of the next two WESTSIDEDOOM of collaboration tracks. Titled "Gorilla Monsoon," the song is predictably dark and gritty, that you can expect the DOOM material.

In a recent interview, the West of the city, explained the thinking behind one of two tracks in the project.

"You do not have to be a full album or what not to make a point," Westside said. "The two songs that we have, those are pieces of art for me. MF DOOM and his management point of view, makes a lot of sense and have already launched the respect me. So after all that, I hit up Alchemist and Daringer. I said Daringer first and cooked a set and that was it. Then we send Alchemist of the joint and it was just magical. With this WESTSIDEDOOM shit, I honestly feel that what I did and what he did in those two songs with the Alchemist and Daringer,
