Doughboy Roc Killed In Detroit Shooting
Police are seeking information following the shooting death of the Doughboyz Cashout rapper.
Detroit rhymer Doughboy Roc (real name Rodney Yeargin), was killed in a shootout that took place in Detroit on Monday (9 October).
News of the Doughboy's death was confirmed by WDIV Local 4, through the rapper of the family.
Another news report from the CBS Detroit reveals that Roc was killed around 3:30 in the afternoon on Monday, while that on the inside of a white Hyundai. The 29-year-old, according to reports, was pronounced dead at the scene, after receiving a shot in the right ear and right shoulder.
His last Instagram post, which was uploaded on the 8th of October, a few hours before the shooting death, shows the rapper during happier times. The short video shows Doughboy rollerskating side-by-side with his "og."

Although Doughboy Roc has published a large amount of solo material, the first thing that jumped to fame as a member of Doughboyz Cashout. The rap crew was founded in the year 2006, and was once signed to Jeezy's CTE World label.
Doughboy's latest solo project came with the release of the September Roc vs Balboa.
