Babygrande Records' most recent signee shows.
SPONSORED – Atlanta rapper Drako is ready to make an impact with their new single "watch me Do it." The 24-year old artist signed to Babygrande Records after impressing the label during his set at the South By Southwest Festival. Now, it is expected to reach new heights in your career with the help of an imprint which published the albums of Hip Hop luminaries like GZA, Pete Rock, M. O. P. and the Chaos.
Drako's first single for Babygrande is filled with the taste of ATL Hip-Hop and presented a different sound of a label that is specialized in the East Coast rap for much of its existence. The track is produced by Yoksta, who has worked with the Future and OJ Da Juiceman. Maybe Drako is destined to reach the same height as that of Yoksta of the past co-workers and solidify himself as a force in his native city, filled with people from the music scene. Babygrande has partnered with Atlanta's Coalition DJ's to work the "Watch Me Do It" in the clubs throughout the city and will premiere in the Daps-directed video in the coming weeks.
"We have been active in Atlanta since several years ago the construction of our network and the development of talent," the label's founder Chuck Wilson told HipHopDX. "We hired an A&R in Atlanta, that will bring us one step closer to our goal of opening a full-blown office and recording studio in 2018. We see our future as a multi-city and multi-genre label in the future."
