Funk Flex Calls DJ Clue "Crazy DJ" — AND Gets A Response

"You could never battle Flex — but nigga, get best on the set!"

The City of new York – Veteran New York City DJ Funkmaster Flex and DJ Clue have never appeared to be friendly with the years of the competition through their respective platforms, Hot 97 and Power 105.1.

In a recent interview with ThisIs50, Flex decided to speak his mind about his former rival.

"You know the funny thing is on Track?" Flex asked June Archer with a smirk. "I respect the Track and the Track is a good guy. But you know what he has problems with? He is a crazy DJ. You know how to play music? He is a crazy DJ! He should make an effort to change that perception."

Ironically, the libel came just before Flex openly admitted that he had a couple of things to work on himself — that is to say, "talk shit". He then proceeded to turn off the notions of going head-to-head, considering that it is totally useless.

"When the battle things, they do that because they know that you are wack in the set," he exclaimed. "You could never battle Flex — but nigga, get better in the set! If you do not take your craft serious enough to practice, then it is great. And that's not a diss to him. He is a mixtape DJ and a great producer."

In 1998, as part of JAY-Z's now defunct Roc-A-Fella Records, a Track published the first installment of his stellar Professional album of the series. Finally nabbed a plate of platinum, which strengthens its commercial presence in the years to come. He also noted the production of cohorts, such as JAY-Z and Fabolous, hammering home Flex point. Not to be outdone, Flex released several gold-selling compilation albums during the decade of the 90, so this is a battle that the heads have been wanting to see for a while.

Flex rounded out the interview by the expulsion Track of a circle that includes DJ Clark Kent, DJ Red Alert, Chu
