"Rap is like a boxer," said André. "No matter how big they are, or were, at a particular time, a person grows older, the slower, I don't care who you are. And I can feel it coming. There is always a new wave of artists, and sometimes I'm like, 'I'm good. I'm going to let the young guys do."
"I like not being part of the [rap], now that I've done it," he continued. "As I get older, I start to see me move behind him — with the hustle and bustle of putting out an album, the pressure of being in the studio trying to get to something. Now it is more like a hobby for me, so I don't think that way. Even with Outkast — if we never make another album, I'm totally fine with that."
