Hip Hop Album Sales: Kodak Black, Dave East, And a$AP Ferg Projects Debut On the Billboard 200

"Project Baby 2" reaches the Billboard 200 chart at #2.

After Kodak Black June release from Jail of the County of Broward, Florida rapper quickly went back to work on his music. Obviously, it's paid and off of their latest album, the Project Baby 2, has hit the Billboard 200 at #2, closely following the #1 album, the New Brand of Science Fiction.

A$AP Ferg "Strive" mixtape failed to break the Top 10, while Dave East Def Jam release, the Paranoia: A True Story, was able to settle in the Top 5, landing at #5 for the week that ended August 24.

His inaugural full-length studio album, Painting Pictures, peaked at #3 in April, the sale total of 71.000 album equivalent units in its first week.
