Hip Hop Week In Review: JAY-Z, Mystikal, And the Major album Releases

HipHopDX – This week in Hip Hop, JAY-Z revealed what his problem with Kanye West. Also, Mystikal found himself behind bars for an alleged violation and had a lot of new releases in Hip Hop.

JAY-Z Speaks On His Relationship With Kanye West

During an exclusive of the TIDES interview with Rap Radar Podcast host Brian "B. Dot" Miller and Elliot Wilson, JAY-Z opened up about his former relationship with Kanye West. The west has been more eloquent on how the two have not been on the same page and is called Jigga for not coming to your wedding, or verification of your family, when Kim Kardashian was stolen.

During the interview, JAY said that he does not appreciate You the method of communication.

"Think about how I got to that point," Hov explained. "It's not even about Kanye. It really is not. Your name is there, but it's just the truth of what happened, but I'm just sayin' the point is that it hurts because this man was talking about you in a scenario, but what really hurts me is that I can bring my children and my wife."

There has been No response from Yeezy however, despite the fact that it may simply be a matter of time.

Mystikal Goes To Jail (Again) For An Alleged Violation

On Monday (21 August), Mystikal gave Shreveport Police in connection to an alleged sexual assault. His bail was set at $2 million. An investigation led to orders issued by him and two other people.

One of them, 42-year-old Tenichia Wafford, the claims of the victim — who is a friend of hers — told her that never happened. Mystikal plans to plead not guilty.
