Fast forward almost two weeks later, and a series of photos Griffin uploaded to Twitter shows his son in the backstage with both Bas and J. Cole at a recent concert.

According to a page on GoFundMe, which has raised nearly $17,000, Collin was recently diagnosed with a rare type of cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma.

"For those of you who don't know Collin personally, he is, by far, the most caring, compassionate, loving individual that I have known in my life," a description on the page GoFundMe reads. "He's going to go out of his way to help anyone in need at any time and he never fails to put a smile on your face. It has been so extremely strong until now and I know this is an uphill battle that we will win."
