Weinstein was fired by the board of directors of the company he founded last week after an onslaught of allegations of sexual abuse made their position untenable.

Many of the great actresses as Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie and Cara Delevigne have issued public statements revealing stories of sexual harassment that have Weinstein. Other actresses have claimed that Weinstein sexually assaulted.

Weinstein misconstrued a JAY-Z lyric in his apology statement addressing the allegations, writing: "JAY-Z wrote at 4:44, 'I'm not the man I thought I was, and I better than the man of my children." The same is true for me."

The actual lyric, from the title of the album of the track: "And if my children knew/ I do not know what I would do/ If you don't look at me like/ I prolly die with all the shame".
