Kelis Ordered to Pay a Former Nanny $17K

Kelis, of course, has more problems than his custody battle with ex-husband Nas. According to The Explosion, the "Milkshake" singer has been ordered to pay the former nanny of Soraya Tascon $17,000. A fragment of the sentence is intended to cover Tascon plane ticket, which was allegedly forced to buy when Kelis left to his fate in London.
The nanny filed the complaint with the Labor Commission of the State of California, after Kelis would have refused to pay in full for their services.
Tascon was hired in June of 2016 for the care of Kelis after six months of age of the baby and her then seven-year-old son with Nas. She was in charge of working out-of-Kelis of house and travel with her on tour. His salary, according to reports, was $750 per week.

In July 2016, while abroad in London — Tascon claims Kelis said goodbye to her and not to provide a ticket back home to Los Angeles. Tascon says she spent $1,200 to fly to his mother's house in Madrid before returning to Los Angeles. In addition to the refund for the flight, Tascon says that she owed him over a hundred hours of wages and overtime.
The Labor Commissioner determined that the evidence proved their claims and dismissed Kelis argument that Tascon had a problem returning phone calls or texts.
Tascon was awarded $17,623.73.
Kelis is faced with more accusations earlier this month when the Nas to ventilate his problems with his ex-wife in seven long Instagram posts. The war wages on.
