Kendrick Lamar & Nas To Place Their Bets On Swizz Beatz Vs. Timbaland Beat Battle

It's to lose.

Instagram – Veteran super-producers Swizz Beatz and Timbaland to set the stage for an epic beat battle of possible epic proportions of the last week and every Hip Hop head has an opinion on the result. That doesn't exclude the Nas and Kendrick Lamar, who offered their two cents on the impending battle.

Timbo accepted Swizz the challenge of last week and since then, the two beatsmiths have been uploading videos to their Instagram accounts to show off their skills. Swizz upped the ante when he shared a video of a seemingly indifferent Nas discuss in the next battle, which is obviously to be carried to the "big stage".

"Two top-level niggas going at it," Nas said. "That is what the game needs. The game needs that. You two niggas are like two of the illest niggas and that ... you, my two brothers, so I just want to see go down."

@nas said that with the Smoke #TimboVSSwizz #imwiththesmoke #withthesmoke #teamswizz #teamtimbo @timbaland Let's get it Date soon!!!!

On the other hand, Timbo posted a video of K. Dot, Ab-Soul and Swizz talking about the event that is coming up. While Kendrick seemed to lean towards Swizz, he also ended up passing on some advice to aspiring MCs out there.

"This is my generation," Kendrick said. "Being a student of rap, when I started rhyming, I used to do was check the fucking credits. This is something that I do not know if the children are doing, but I'm going to explain to you. The verification of the claims, is how I know that I want to work with Swizz Beatz a day. I remember that my favorite fucking beats, checking the credits, I would say Swizz in him."
