Kendrick Lamar Confirms Fan Theory About "NOTHING".

"I think like a week after the album came out, [the fans] realized that you can listen to the album backwards," K. Dot says.

Kendrick Lamar DAMN. still burning up the charts more than four months after its launch, and for the fans that has not yet fallen into the Reddit rabbit hole, there is a new way to listen: back.

After the release of Kendrick's fourth studio release in April, many fans speculated about the possibility of a surprise second album which will be released soon after, while others theorized about the possibility that there exists a second, hidden concept within the 14 tracks.

During a recently published interview with MTV News, K. Dot confirmed that the latter theory — even admitting that the album has a better rhythm when the songs of the album are played back in reverse order.

"Many of my fans know that my albums get real intricate, and there are always details that there are," the Compton native said when asked about the theory. "For the most part, usually have a good ear to figure out what is going on."

"I think like a week after the album came out, [the fans] realized that you can hear the disc upside down," Lamar continued. "Playing as a full story and even a better rate. It is one of my favorites of the rhythms and tempos on the album. It is something that we definitely arson as we are in the studio."

Kendrick is going to admit that, while the draft of the narrative does not change, the feeling that the album certainly differs when played in the reverse order.

"I don't think the story necessarily changes, I think that the feel of the changes," he said. "The first listening environment from the top all the way to the bottom ... is this aggression and this attitude. You know, 'DNA', and expose who I really am. Listening from the back-end, and is about the duality and the contrast of the intricate Kendrick Lamar. Both of these pieces are what I am."
