Kevin Gates Shares The Cover Art And Release Date Of "By Any Means 2" Mixtape

Incarceration won't stop dropping new music.

Even though Kevin Gates is currently behind bars, their circumstances will not prevent the release of the new music. The man behind the success of the single "2 Phones", has announced plans to release a mixtape titled "By Any Means 2" on the 21st of September.

The project is a sequel to his mixtape in 2014 By Any Means, which was her second release through Atlantic Records. There is No list of songs has been made public, but at this time, the film includes the song "What If," the Doors released a new music video for earlier this week.

The "What If" video featured an open letter from Gates to his fans, encouraging them not to worry about his imprisonment.

"Don't allow themselves to be a problem in my time of absence," he wrote. "All the great before and will come after me, Have had to go through this."

The Baton Rouge rapper is currently serving 30 months in prison, stemming from a 2013 weapons charge in Cook County, Illinois. Before the start of its last stint in jail, he was locked up for six months after being found guilty of charges of battery in October of 2016.
