Lil Wayne Reportedly Hospitalized After Several Attacks

Chicago, IL – Lil Wayne was found unconscious in a Chicago hotel room on Sunday (3 September) after suffering at least one seizure, according to TMZ. The Big Easy native was rushed to Northwestern Memorial hospital, where he apparently had another attack.
Wayne was scheduled to perform with Rae Sremmurd at the Drais beach club in Las Vegas, later that night, but the doctors advised him to stay in the hospital. Wayne of representatives told TMZ Vegas performance was canceled so that he can rest.
Wayne has been plagued by attacks for years. One of the early documented episodes was in 2012, when The los Angeles bound jet was forced to make an emergency landing in Texas after Wayne reportedly had a seizure. Despite the fact that his team denied it at the time, the illustrious rapper had yet another attack the next day.
In 2013, finally confirmed that he suffered from epilepsy. In an interview with Power 106, Wayne explained,"This is not my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth or seventh seizure. I've had a lot of seizures. You just never hear about them. But this time, he became very poorly because I had three of them in a row."
One of their most recent episodes was in the year 2016, when the private plane carrying Wayne was founded in Omaha, Nebraska after he entered into a crisis mid-flight. Some have speculated that his exorbitant consumption of codeine had been the cause of the episodes.
