Master P Calls Kodak Black-The "Future" And Considers Him As A Son
The pair is forming a team for a back-to-school event next month.
New Orleans, LA – Kodak Black has had his share of legal problems over the past year and has just been released from a Broward County jail in June after serving time for several probation violations. Since then, Master P has evidently taken the 19-year-old under his wing and, according to reports, considers him as a son. Kodak commented that he wanted the No Limit Records ceo to work with him during an interview with The Breakfast Club in January, and the two connected shortly after that.
After the "Tunnel Vision", the rapper was invited to participate in the Master P the Team Hope NOLA Celebrity Basketball Game, held in New Orleans on June 29, Kodak issued a statement that said, "No one is perfect, I am a work in progress myself. They gave Me a second chance and I want to help inner city children".
In a video posted on Instagram on July 3 from Master P co-signed the Pompano Beach, Florida native, saying: "This is the future here. Y'all ain't ready. We are about to go crazy. A great business".

His next project is a back-to-school fundraiser on August 14 at Kodak, his native city, where he is going to give away school supplies to over 1,300 children. In 2014, Kodak said that he was working on finishing his diploma at Blanche Ely high School and, although it is not clear whether he received his bachelor's degree, according to the reports, believes that education is very important.
