N. E. R. D. Will Perform Together For The First Time In 3 Years

Long Beach, CA – After laying relatively low for a couple of years, N. E. R. D. — Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo and Shay Haley — has announced a performance in ComplexCon 2017, Long Beach, California. Held on 4 and 5 November, the event aims to N. E. R. D. as the headliner of the event alongside acts such as Gucci Mane, A-Trak, a$AP Ferg and M. I. A.
The fair serves as the group's first time on stage together since Tyler The Creator the 2014 Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, where Pharrell brought the group together in their headlining set. Tyler, who has been a long-time fan of both Pharrell and N. E. R. D., became emotional after seeing the reunion.

N. E. R. D. burst onto the scene in 2002 with his gold-selling debut, In Search Of..., but has been flying under the radar since 2010's Nothing. Although Pharrell allusion to a fifth album in the works in November of 2016, that has been almost a year since any other information that has been published.
In May of this year, Hugo jokingly announced his retirement.
The upcoming presentation of the innovative trio could be a sign that we're potentially getting a new album in the near future.
