Now there is An Official French Montana Day In Miami Beach
Montana joins the growing list of rappers with a day in his honor.
Miami Beach, FL – From now on, the 12 of October will be known as the "French Montana Day" in the neighborhood of South Beach in Miami Beach, Florida.
The city's mayor, Philip Levine, made the announcement during the opening day of the fourth edition of the REVOLT Music Conference (RMC), which is held at the Eden Roc hotel Miami Beach Resort.
The morocco-born and South Bronx-raised rapper was excited, thanking his Bad Boy label boss Diddy and Mayor Levine for the honor.

Last year in the third annual edition of the RMC, the Mayor said Levine October 13, as "Sean Diddy Combs Day." This year, Diddy was presented with a "100 years of the currency".

January 20, also serves as the "DJ Khaled Day" in Miami.
A number of Hip Hop stars have been honored with his own day this year. Atlanta declared 17 July as "Killer Mike Day." The veteran rapper received the award for her role as an ambassador of the city and the permanence of his work as an activist.
Also this year, officials of the city of Memphis, announced on the 29th of June as "Yo Gotti-Day." At the same time, Gotti was awarded the key to the city.
Drake and Bun B have also been honored with his own day in Houston, Texas.
