Prodigy Mural Erased Within A Few Hours Of The Completion
Someone better start snitching.
Queensbridge, NY – Less than 24 hours after a mural dedicated to the Prodigy was released, vandals, evidently, decided to destroy the tribute art to the late quotes mobb Deep MC. A friend and collaborator of Cormega posted a photo to his Instagram account that shows the white paint splattered across the Prodigy's face with a caption that read: "This is some sucker shit."
This is something that is sucker shit.

The mural was painted on the wall of the Urban Upbound building on 13th Street and 40 Avenue, across the street from the Queensbridge Houses in New York City where Prodigy spent part of his youth.
Artists Jeff Henriquez and Eli "Eli Eos" Lazare, who created the mural over a course of five days, they still have to react on social media, but many others have taken the time to express their outrage at the blatant vandalism. It is not clear if the police department is investigating it as a crime.
Prodigy passed away at the age of 42 years in Las Vegas last month after complications with sickle cell anemia, a condition that had fought all his life.
Take a look at some of the reactions below.
