"Why are you mad?"
The battle for the "Year End Rap" is a concept that follows.
The dispute between the Mad Skillz (Skillz for short) and Uncle Murda.k.a. Lenny Grant has boiling of leakage of the lines and social media spikes in trading diss records.
Uncle Murda has officially responded to the Skillz of the caustic "Murda Gram" with a diss track of his own titled "Why you Mad?" The G-Unit artist applause back in Skillz while they remain unrepentant about lifting the concept of the annual "Year End Rap" songs.
"He's mad I got the 'Rap' lit again/ the next year I'm taking your shit again/ I know that you feel already like the chain got snatched/ And I remember that every year that you can't get back/ taking pictures is like Shaq to shoot free kicks/ I'd rather be here, reinforcing with Migos/I took your shit, I'm a keep taking/ I don't give a fuck if the one who has made it," Murda raps.
Later, Murda takes aim at Strength of the race, after claiming no one in Skillz's home state of Virginia is concerned about him as The Clipse or Pharrell.
"You tried to Take ownership as JAY, but you have Ether d/ I came up hard, I'm a product of a Biggie/ they don't see You as well, a product of Missy/ I was playing chess with you, nigga, not ladies/ I asked around, no one knows the name of none of ya records/ Your career never got off the shelf/ that ghostwriter that you couldn't write a success for yourself, Honestly, no one knows that you wrote for/ I took the one thing he was known for," Murda raps.
The MC of Brooklyn cover of the sim by boasting about the success he has experienced since he joined G-Unit, that is his way of refuting Skillz the line about signing with the label 10 years too late, and by calling his rival a "wash".
