Reggie Mills Is All About Your Business, As It Happens Exec Artist

One of the perceived shortcomings of young artists is a lack of business acumen, specifically centered around the inner workings of the music industry. When Lil Yachty appeared in the dark about the details of how money is made in cash that are enjoying it almost gave Joe Budden a aneurysm.
The artists who learn the ins and outs of the business side of the game normally thrive, and usually end up with fatter pockets, and — ultimately — more successful in the long term.
New-school present Reggie Mills is on that path, and serves as a model that young artists can learn from (if they are smart).

That difference people pick up is the business sense that has been acquired during the ascent from intern to VP of Amalgam Digital between 2011 and 2015. The amalgam made a name for himself associating himself with artists such as Lil B (from the beginning), the Wave God Max B, and post-Def Jam Joe Budden.
"I've learned a lot about the fundamentals," he explains. "I was able to copyright my music properly and right way to present my music to the correct places. After having worked with a solid list of artists such as Playboi Carti, UnoTheActivist, Smokepurpp — and have recently been in the studio with Travis Scott — Reggie has been building a steady name for himself. An artist on the whole experience of being an executive, which is now enjoying a well-deserved success.
