Rihanna Is In Mourning For A Cousin Shot And Killed In Barbados
The singer has since taken to Instagram to put an end to gun violence.
Saint Michael, Barbados, Rihanna's cousin was killed in his native home of Barbados, on Tuesday (26 December), just one day after they celebrated Christmas together.
Tavon Kaiseen Alleyne, 21, was shot several times by an unidentified man while walking near her home in the Saint Michael area of the island, according to Barbados Today.
Alleyne was rushed to a nearby hospital, but later died of his injuries. His killer still has not been captured, despite the fact that the local authorities are asking any person who may provide information to be presented.
In a post uploaded to Instagram after his cousin's death, Rihanna called for an end to gun violence.
