Rihanna, Pitbull, J. Lo And More React to Hurricane Maria of the Devastation In Puerto Rico

The island still needs help.

While President Donald Trump gets criticized for its slow response to the situation of Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria decimated the American territory, many of them in the Hip Hop community have stepped up to help. Included among them are Rihanna, Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez, Fat Joe, and Common.

Rihanna called out the President on Twitter and Instagram this week by mentioning him in tweets related to Puerto Rico, since it seemed that he was more concerned with the issue of the NFL players knees during the National Anthem.

Rih tried to divert the Trump attention to Puerto Rico by mentioning him in several tweets about the devastation that hit the island of 3.4 million inhabitants. In a tweet, the Bajan singer mentioned Trump in a clip that shows how much damage the hurricane did.

Hurricane Maria made landfall on the island last Wednesday (September 20) and is apparently the worst hurricane that hit the territory of more than 90 years. It is also the second hurricane that hit Puerto Rico this month (Hurricane Irma bordered by the beginning of September).

Dear @realDonaldTrump I know that you've probably already seen this, but I just wanted to make sure! Don't let your people die like this. pic.twitter.com/mDO848JAUx
