Suge Knight Argues (Again) That Dr. Dre Hired Someone To Kill Him
And Dr. Dre's attorneys again denied it.
Los Angeles, CA – As Suge Knight awaits his January 2018 date for the trial for the death of 55-year-old Terry Carter, the former Death row Records CEO is reportedly making some serious accusations (again).
In new legal documents obtained by TMZ, the Knight is accusing Dr. Dre of pay to a person named Dwayne Johnson in for the kill.
Knight says that he met with a private investigator in July of 2016 and saw a check written to Johnson for $20,000 as partial payment for the work. Johnson, who was also at the meeting with the Knight and the private investigator, according to the report, confirmed the transaction.
January 29, 2015 — the day Carter was murdered in Compton, California — the Gentleman says that he had reason to fear for his life.
This is not the first time Dre has been accused of conspiring to kill a Knight. In April 2016, the legal documents submitted by the Knight's former lawyer, Thaddeus Culpepper, said the Beats By Dre brain worked with the L. A. County Sheriff's Department in 2014 to have Knight killed in the night club of Hollywood 1 OAK, where the Gentleman was shot seven times.
Culpepper provided evidence that a gunman at the 1 OAK allegedly confessed to receiving $50,000 for Dre to kill a Knight.
In October 2016, Knight, reportedly planned to sue Dre for allegedly hiring a hitman to take him out and demanded a 30 percent of the Dre's entertainment income.
Dre, the lawyers have denied all the claims, and, according to reports, he called the latest allegations "absurd."
