TDE President Laughs at Lupe Fiasco Biting Accusations Against Kendrick Lamar
All's fair in love and war.
Lupe Fiasco found himself the recipient of a couple of words of Top Dawg Entertainment's president Dave Free Saturday (6 January). At the beginning of the week, the Chi City rap vet took to Twitter and stated that it needs a new cover art of her upcoming album, Drugs of the Wave.
He argued that it was too similar to that of Kendrick Lamar and SZA of the work of art for the recently released Black Panther's single, "All The Stars".
"Even I have to admit that this is a little too close for comfort," he wrote. "damn, now I guess I need a new album cover...thank you @theblankpanther."
He added, "All black covers, in the reverse of the albums. Now this...I'm getting suspiciously delicious hahahha."

Free soon came to Kung Fu Kenny and SZA of defense on Twitter, laughing off Lupe claim.
"@LupeFiasco go to kick and push yourself in a tree with these wild accusations," Free wrote, in reference to Lupe's 2001 Food And Liquor hit, "Kick, Push."

Lupe responded in a now-deleted tweet with a good dose of sarcasm.
"I see what you did there," he wrote. "However, it is quite impossible to skate in a tree, because most trees are in the grass where skateboards in reality do not work well due to the wheels not really be optimal to traverse through such terrain. Now a car or say a door."
DRUGS Wave is intended to serve as the follow-up of the DRUG of the Light, that Lupe released last year.
