Vic Mensa Explains How Donald Trump Is Making The Fight Against Global Warming More Difficult
DXCLUSIVE: HipHopDX spoke with Mensa during one of the two benefit shows with the Tides.
As parts of The Gulf Coast, Florida and the Caribbean are still dealing with the effects of the devastating hurricanes of Harvey Irma, Hip Hop artists have stepped up in a significant way for the relief efforts.
Monday night in Downtown Los Angeles' Teragram Ballroom, Vic Mensa performs one of the two coast-to-coast pop-up displays, in support of the Recording Academy's MusiCares Program.
Next Mensa performance, HipHopDX spoke with him about some comments he has made recently with Billboard where he called the company to be the responsible one argued because of hurricanes, Global Warming.
"The hand," he said. "That is not a part of the conversation because the powers-that-be do not want it to be a conversation. These things are not the way that it is shaped in regards to the hurricane. These multi-billion dollar corporations should not be able to put us in this fucking mess and not being able to be in this conversation."
He also slammed current President of the united States, Donald Trump to get out of the Paris Climate agreement. For those outside the policy loop, The Climate of Paris was an agreement within the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, where the countries-participants of the plans and determine how to fight global warming.
"We can't control hurricanes or natural disasters," he said. "We can't be angry with them. We can be angry with Donald Trump to remove from us the Climate of Agreement".
