YG Traffic Stop Yields the Situation of tension With the Police
What I see rollin'.
Burbank, CA – YG, was reportedly arrested on Wednesday night (August 9) in Burbank, California. The police allegedly detained the 27-year-old rapper from Compton, because the paint on his Mercedes-Maybach seemed too dark. Once the police got in touch with YG, the officers asked for his license and registration, but, according to reports, he said, "No." As the tension began to escalate, he refused to get out of the car and told the police that he had no confidence in them.
Several police cars rushed to the scene for backup, but YG finally came out of the vehicle. He was not carrying any identification and apparently tried to use his fame as a "get out of jail free card." Fortunately for him, was not arrested and is only cited by the ID, tinted windows and no license plates.
YG has not resolved the incident publicly, and for someone with 3.2 million followers, but he stays relatively quiet on Instagram. His last post was on the 10th of August in support of their next race of the Euro, which starts on 15 October in London.
