Formed in 1999, the Queens' collective was created by the founding members of 50 years, Banks and Yayo. After Yayo was locked up in 2003, shortly before the G-Unit dropped their debut album, they hired Buck to take his place in the meantime. It has become a permanent member.
Through the years, G-Unit has released 43 mixtapes, two EPs and two proper studio albums — 2003's Beg For Mercy, and 2008's T. O. S: Terminate On Sight.
G-Unit's latest project was the 2015 EP, The Beast Is G-Unit.
